Do you love social media and keen to get your hands dirty? We are on the look out for a Social Media Coordinator who can work with our broader team on content creation, community management, caption writing and reporting for our social media clients.

You’ll know the difference between a Reel and a Story, a TikTok and a Snapchat and love knowing about all the latest trends and how the algorithms work.

You’ll have experience working as a social media coordinator (or similar) in a range of industries.

This is a full time role and will require some community management out of standard office hours.

The role of the Social Media Co-ordinator is to work with our broader team to deliver on the social media strategies for our clients.  Our social media clients cover a variety of industries so you’ll always be working on something different.

The role involves handling all aspects of social media including content creation, community management and reporting. You will live and breathe social media including staying up to date on the latest trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms.
  • Deliver on the expectations of our results-driven social media strategy.
  • Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.
  • Develop and manage internal briefs to our design team.
  • Attend events and produce live social media content.
  • Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels.
  • Collaborate with the broader team to create a social media calendar.
  • Monitor social media channels for industry trends.
  • Interact with users and respond to social media messages, enquiries, and comments.
  • Review analytics and create reports on key metrics.
  • Assist in the development and management of social media marketing and influencer marketing strategy.
  • Deliver on deadlines/milestones under pressure

Experience/Skill Set Required

  • Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools
  • Proficiency with video and photo editing tools i.e. Canva, Photoshop etc
  • Excellent social listening skills
  • Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space
  • Strong copywriting and copy editing skills
  • Top-notch oral and verbal communication skills
  • Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
